Team Building Service Projects for Non-Profits

Adding a service project to your team building event creates a whole new level of energy and commitment. Everyone wants to make sure that their team is successful when there is something tangible on the line. This is also a great metaphor for teams to talk about the importance of staying focused on "the big picture." Please contact us for more details and rates for any of these programs.

Challenge for a Child

This is a team building event and service project combined into one exciting program. Teams of 8-10 participants overcome a series of challenges in order to retrieve the parts for a child’s bicycle which they assemble and then donate to a local charity. There are also bonus challenges where teams can earn accessories for their bikes. The challenges are a combination of proven, high-energy, problem-solving initiatives and mental challenges that will help your team identify the behaviors of optimum teamwork. The goal of donating a completed bicycle is a great metaphor for staying focused on the big picture.

Driven to Serve

This is a team building event and service project for indoor spaces. Teams are provided with materials for constructing a small self -propelled car, but they have a strict budget and timeline to stay within, plus other criteria to meet in order to satisfy customer demands. How well each team does determines their budget for "purchasing" a Lego car, which will be donated to a child in need.

Grin and Bear It

This is a team building event and service project for smaller spaces or indoors. Teams complete challenges to earn their bears, and additional challenges to earn the budget for "purchasing" clothing and accessories. After completion of the program, the bears are donated to children in need.

On the Right Track

Teams of 8-10 people build a play table and train set that will be donated to a local children’s charity. Teams will need to organize the different functions of engineering, inventory, and assembly, while dealing with different restrictions on their communication and departmental movements.

Treasure Hunt for Tots

This event is just like The Amazing Main Street Hunt, except that instead of points, each team earns up to $50 cash that they use to purchase items to put into care packages for local children in need. It’s lots of fun and a great morale booster.
